The project has been selected to participate in the poster exhibition as a Horizon Europe-funded initiative
On November 28, the REDYSIGN project will participate in the 12th Conference of the European Union Framework Program for Research and Innovation – Horizon Europe, titled “Beyond the Horizon”. This significant event, to be held at the Conference Centre and Exhibition Centre of Oviedo, Spain, offers a pivotal platform for the project to engage with leading researchers and innovators.
The conference aims to analyze the functioning of Horizon Europe and its major initiatives to date, featuring a comprehensive program. REDYSIGN has been selected to showcase its work in the poster exhibition as a CBE JU-funded initiative under Horizon Europe, coordinated by the Spanish entity, Tecnalia, alongside other European initiatives. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the project and its specific objectives, focusing on the mission to develop a biobased, recyclable, and smart fiber-based packaging (FBP), presented by members of the consortium.
About the conference
Organized by CDTI in collaboration with the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities, the European Commission, the City Council of Oviedo, and Sekuens, this year’s conference features a full program of roundtable discussions, bilateral meetings and an accessible poster exhibition.
The event will kick off at 9 a.m. and run until approximately 6 p.m., open to all interested participants upon registration. The inaugural session will feature a keynote address by Marc Lemaître, Director General of Research and Innovation at the European Commission. This will be followed by three engaging roundtable discussions. The first, “Spain in the Framework Program: From Participation to Leadership in the EU”, will review Spain’s participation in Horizon Europe, drawing conclusions to help Spanish entities enhance their participation strategies and positioning in Europe.
Subsequent discussions will include “Looking at the Horizon: Perspectives from Participants,” and “Beyond the Horizon: The Future Framework Program 2028-2034, Expectations”, where speakers will share insights on the future of the EU Framework Program for Research and Innovation.
Throughout the day, participants will have opportunities for personalized consultations with Horizon Europe experts and can arrange bilateral meetings with fellow attendees, creating valuable networking opportunities for entities seeking partners for proposal submissions.
The complete program and information about logistical details and registration are available on the official website. Our REDYSIGN representatives look forward to connecting with professionals, institutions, and any other interested attendees to continue fostering innovation across Europe!
